Contemporary Practices in Early Intervention

Information for Strong Start, DC Early Intervention

The Contemporary Practices in Early Intervention (CPEI) on line curriculum will be available free to the early intervention providers in the District of Columbia through Strong Start. An invitation code to enter the curriculum is available through the Strong Start program administration, Andres Alvarado (andres.alvarado@dc.gov)

This curriculum has been pre-approved for some service providers In the District of Columbia
Nurses: This Curriculum has been approved through CE Broker to award 10 continuing education hours.
Occupational Therapists:  This Curriculum is pre-approved by the DC Health Professions Licensing Board of Occupational Therapy to award 10 continuing education hours.
Physical Therapists: This Curriculum is pre-approved by the DC Health Professions Licensing Board of Physical Therapy to award 10 continuing education hours.
Psychologists: This Curriculum has been submitted to the DC Health Professions Licensing Board of Psychologists for review.
Social Workers:This Curriculum has been pre-approved by the DC Health Licensing Board for Social Workers to award 10 continuing education hours.
Teachers/Educators: This Curriculum is designed to qualify toward your professional development requirements. The program is 10 continuing education hours.

Cost and Registration

The cost to complete the curriculum for early intervention providers in the District of Columbia is free with an invitation code. To register using this invitation code, see link at the bottom of this page.
